Order and cleanliness in my first tenant life!
As you understand, Raisa Litmanovna and I maintained perfect cleanliness in the house. And it was a purity that became for us at some point a lot of fun.
Raisa Litmanovna had ladies friends who often came to visit her. I definitely should note that all the ladies I speak of were of retirement age. The closest was a lady named Tanya. Tanya was a unique woman - she was simply ill with cleanliness. They say that even such a disease exists. Once Raisa Litmanovna was ill. The doorbell rang and I went down the stairs to open the door. At the threshold stood Tanya. She was with a bag, in the bag was a separate bag with slippers and another one in which she folded her street shoes. We went upstairs and before going to Raisa Litmanovna, Tanya went into the kitchen and asked me in a very strict voice about where the clean dishes are. She asked me to boil boiled water for her and doused with boiling water a plate in which she laid the cottage cheese she brought with her.
This, to be honest, was very surprising to me. Later, while talking about Tana with Raisa Litmanovna, I found out in detail about the life of this unusual woman. Tanya lived with her sister. Every day they went to Privoz (Food market)to buy fresh products. They left nothing in the refrigerator for storage. They went to the cinema, to the least visited hall of the Palace of Sailors and bought the whole row so that no one would sit next to them. When Tanya called us on the phone and I picked up the phone, it seemed to me that she was talking to me through a cloth so that my breath would not defile her. Some time passed and Raisa Litmanovna told me the latest news. She said that Tanya was finally about to get married. We looked at each other in absolute and complete bewilderment. HOW is this possible ???
At that time, I still did not wear glasses and did not know how to care for them. I remember how Raisa Litmanovna and I laughed when she told me about one of my acquaintances, a man who, when he came home from the street, washed his glasses with soap!
And another story that has nothing to do with cleanliness and order. My husband Radu and Raisa Litmanovna were great admirers of the series “Seventeen Moments of Spring”. Every time Radu came home from work, he told Raisa Limanovna that the show was starting today, he was joking. He was joking, and Raisa Litmanovna believed him. Then I explained to her that Radu was just joking (Whistles) And when he once again tried to make a joke, Raisa Litmanovna with a mischievous look told him- "Radik, you are such a whistler!"
It was on that evening that the show of the long-awaited series began.
