India. Babulnath Temple The Temple of Shiva Ling and Kumira.

Image
Babulnath Temple It was perhaps the first Indian temple that I visited. When approaching the temple, we were met by flower sellers and it was very beautiful. Incredibly bright pink lotus flowers just begged for canvas. Before entering, we took off our shoes as expected and entered the sanctuary barefoot. It was very pleasant, the marble floors were cool, and touching them with bare feet was like an outlandish ritual. Babulnath Temple The Temple of Shiva Ling and Kumira was consecrated in the 12th century by the then Hindu Raja of Bhimdev. The most widespread in Shaivism, as the worship of the Lingam (the symbol of Shiva) and the female symbol "Yoni" (the symbol of the shakti-female side) of Shiva in its various manifestations - Parvati, Kali and others. However, some areas of Shaivism - mainly Lingayats - use Lingam without Yoni i

Crawford Food Market. Good afternoon! Let's continue our journey through India today we are still in Mumbai and visit the famous Crawford food market. I love markets and their colours. In Cape Town, these are very decent and stylish establishments that attract musicians and actors, and special entertainment programs are created to attract the public. In Odessa, our pride Privoz is worth a lot. There, outside entertainment is not needed, the most ordinary sellers become actors and crowds come to them, listening to their tales in true Odessa language. In Mumbai, Crawford Food Market is called Mahatma Joytiba Phule Mandai. It is one of the most famous markets in South Mumbai. Arthur Crawford was the city's first municipal commissioner. The market is located opposite the Mumbai Police Headquarters, north of Victoria Railway Station and west of the JJ Overpass at a busy intersection. The market sells wholesale fruits, vegetables, poultry and spices. It also sells animals such as dog

This week I finished a portrait of my beloved Georgiy and also painted a little work - those blue thorns, which I already told you about! In general, autumn has come and it is getting cooler. Everything is changing, and we are happy to follow the changes, we believe that victory will come soon and we will return to our beloved Odesa! Akrounta news. Friday! Sassoon Dock, Mumbai

Image
Sassoon Dock, Mumbai On the second day of our stay in Mumbai, we went to the fish port. I love the beauty of places like this. Sea, boats. fishermen. And here it was also interesting if you try to abstract from the ubiquitous dirt. Mumbai's Sassoon Dock Fishing Port is one of the oldest ports in Mumbai, and one of the few in the city open to the public. It is located right next to Cuffe Parade Square in South Mumbai, and today is one of the largest fish markets in the city. It is adjacent to the Mumbai Port Building and Fisheries Department offices and overlooks Oyster Rock, an island in Mumbai harbour. Built-in 1875 on reclaimed land by David Sassoon & Co., The dock was formerly owned by Albert Abdullah David Sassoon (1818-1896), son of David Sassoon, a Baghdadi Jew and leader of the Jewish community in Bombay. It was the first commercial dock in western India and it was its construction that helped establish the cotton trade. David Sassoon called on the Prince of Bombay to be
