Gallery. Recket.
Gallery. Recket.
Yesterday I went around all day and thought about writing about this topic so that it would be understandable not only to my Ukrainian friends but also to those who do not live in Ukraine and do not know the realities of our lives. Recket theme.
When I founded the gallery, I understood that by becoming responsible for paintings, souvenirs and other goods in the gallery, I bear responsibility for all this. Looking closely at how new businessmen work, I learned that they do not conclude an agreement with the police for security. What to do? I have a friend and I already talked about her - this is a gorgeous woman Verunya, who at that time was connected with special people, the so-called bandits in law, and they were called skaters. They guarded and defended the business. Verunya introduced me to her Armenian friend named Grisha and he introduced me to the course of affairs. We agreed that from now on, my gallery will be protected by his group.
Once a month, the guys came for payment. We started the business, profits weren’t particularly profitable, but they spared us and made it possible to pay tribute by the paintings. It was a lot easier for me.
When these guys first appeared in the gallery, I felt the energy of the danger emanating from them. It was creepy. But working with them was not so bad. They were interested in art and I was pleased to introduce our artists to them and, one might say, enlightened them. Among them was one very memorable guy, his name was Sasha. He was a real handsome two meter tall and looked just like a Hollywood blond actor, with an outstanding chin and powerful torso. I often recall him and I would be interested to know how his fate came about.
My attitude towards these people has completely changed as a result of long communication.
Before we opened the gallery, a predatory attack was carried out on my art studio and many things were stolen; After contacting the police and drawing up acts, a lot of time passed and no results were obtained. And the actions of my receters were very decisive and immediate. In case of danger, they appeared within a few minutes and put everything in its place. We felt protected. And by the way, inside their team there was real responsibility and discipline, yes they were bandits and did not hide it, but they lived according to the law, which made them very different from our city leaders, who were known as decent people and engaged in real banditry without any rules.
