December 29th. The terrible year 2022 is coming to an end, and I have a pleasant meeting with new beautiful friends. Our daughter Rada has made wonderful acquaintances during her 20 years of living in Cape Town, and thanks to this, I ended up in an incredible estate called The Good Hope. This Estate is securely hidden under Chapman's Peak itself, and many do not even know about its existence. And there is a completely different world - huge century-old cedars surround emerald green glades and among them a few villas are imposingly located. We were received at the "Meeting of Friends" by Sigalin and her husband Mark. And I want to talk about this wonderful family. You know who struck me the most - their daughters. Before that, it seemed to me that I would never be able to visit Cape Town and enjoy the incredible sensations that I experience in this place. They can only be compared with the delight of flying in a hot air balloon. The main thing is to get to the bay at the right time, at a time when the ocean, like a living being, rejoices at being. When he is a little, almost calm and his waves, crashing against the rocks, merrily rise up and break up into a sparkling scattering of drops. My wish came true, and later another wish came true to see our sunny bunny, Benjamin, who has now become a real man, taller than his grandfather Radu. The meeting was unexpected and incredibly pleasant - Ben picked up his grandmother in his arms and twirled !!! How incredible and wonderful it is

In the morning, I finally got to Noordhoek beach. When I thought about the fact that we were flying to Cape Town, I clearly imagined the first place I wanted to go. It is the beach. For me and my husband Radu, this holiday was a real miracle. Our girls are planning to send us to Cape Town!  And here we are! In this regard, I decided to restructure my stories a bit, and while the holidays last, I will talk about what we are experiencing at the present time, and not in the past! After the holidays, I will return to the previous format and will publish news only on Fridays! So, Cape Town is a city where I feel even better than at home. Friday. Noоrdhoek News! Don't be surprised, Radu and I are in South Africa. Today at 5 o'clock in the morning we arrived in Cape Town. Of course, we were met by our Radochka! I won't tell you what we've been through preparing for the trip. This is superfluous and the result is important. Cape Town met us with gray weather and clouds. Rada and I know what it is for. Cape Town doesn't like bad people - it doesn't make them happy. A lot of russians flew into the city, and South Africa does not accept them. It happens all the time and we know the quirks of the city through many years of practice as guides. Even though we were very tired during the flight, we did a lot of things and also ate sushi in the village. So from one village, we flew half the world to another! Winter in Odessa 2016. And so, we winter in Odessa. I never thought that it would hurt me to look at the photo of Odessa. It hurts to be not at home, not of your own free will, but under duress. It hurts to depend on loved ones when before I was always INDEPENDENT, it hurts not to be able to manage my own life. It hurts when there is a war in Ukraine and the most beautiful men in our country die every day. And that winter in 2016, we enjoyed the winter and the first snow. We also discovered a wonderful place for walking - Plates in Arcadia. You know how I loved Bantry Bay in Cape Town - the ocean bay that flowed into the city, and so, the Arcadian plates remind me of this bay - the sea there is as deep and open as the ocean. We meet the first snow and admire it from the window of our apartment on the 21st floor. We walk with the children and truly enjoy the winter.
