Summer 2022. Meanwhile...

We are in Cyprus, and the other half of our family lives and enjoys life in Cape Town. The most important thing is that all our loved ones are safe now.

липень, 2025 Кілька тижнів тому мені наснився сон у якому мене кусала ігуана. Вона була дуже гарна-з вузькою мордою. Морда її була за кольором біло-чорномалінова, а тулуб втрачав цей малиновий колір-воно було чорно білим і в лусочках. Ігуана виповзла з якогось дерев'яного ящика і накинулася на мене. Мені було дуже боляче, і я кликала на допомогу. Її щелепи були схожі на пластикові чорні виделки для сковороди і вони щільно в мене впивалися - розімкнути їх було складно. Мене звільнили, було поранено палець і з нього текла кров. Сон наснився з четверга на п'ятницю, і я чекала на його виконання. Наша Рада є справжнім спеціалістом з розгляду снів. Я подзвонила їй і вона розповіла мені значення цього сну. Начебто я звертатимуся до якогось начальника і він мені в чомусь відмовить. Я посміялася – слава Богу, у мене тепер немає начальників і я ні до кого не збираюся звертатися. Але все ж таки сон мій здійснився і я розповім яким чином! Summer in Limassol. June 2025

Summer has arrived, yes. At 6 pm the temperature is 33 degrees. This year the summer has spared us. Last year it started not in mid-June, but in April and lasted until October. I am slowly adapting. It used to seem impossible to me to go for walks in the summer, but now I have found a window! I get up at 6 am and go for a long walk, then to my beach and swim. I try to change my schedule and change my rituals every day. One day – yoga and swimming, the next day – promenade and swimming. The sea here is not our Black, it is saltier and it holds. You don’t expect it to. Now I understand those who hang far from the shore and just hang there. And I swim and count my strokes. This allows me more time in the sea! I have been learning Greek with Duolingo for the second year. As before, there is no one to talk to. I only hear Greek when I’m driving and I already have some familiar songs. Yalta. International Art Project "Pallete of Freedom

In May, I first celebrated my birthday myself, I mean without Radu and the girls, in an unfamiliar company. I was invited to take part in the international project Palette of Freedom, which was organized by the Kiev artist Marianna Abramova . Artists from many countries of the world took part in the project. I went to Yalta with my student, American lady Christine Anne Hofland, who is now the head of the American Cultural Center in Kiev. In Yalta, we had to create several artworks and donate them to the project fund. I decided to arrange for all our Soul Art to paint the port of Yalta at night in the frame of the project. Everything was great, Oleg Atayants, as usual, supported me and provided the artists with canvases. We bought paints already in Yalta and used mainly acrylics. This led to the problem.
