Friday news from Limassol. September 2024.

The most important news of this week – our Marseille flew to Vienna yesterday! Our princess is starting an independent life.
Each of our grandchildren has their own special character. We left Africa a long time ago and our connection with the children has weakened a little. But here in Cyprus, we communicate very closely with our grandchildren and they are, perhaps, our main friends, except for Sylvia.
As for Marseille, she is a bit of a withdrawn person, like Rapunzel. She spends a lot of time withdrawn in her room and in her life. In three years here in Limassol, she has finally found company. Therefore, her departure, especially the day before, when we came to hug her on the way – she was very, very sad.
I remembered and told her my story, when I had to leave my home and go to the village on assignment, to teach drawing and drafting and what came of it.
I am sure that everything will work out wonderfully for our Marcel and I wish her wonderful adventures in her new life.

Найважливіша новина цього тижня – наша Марсель відлетіла вчора у Відень! У нашої принцеси починається самостійне життя.
Кожен із наших онуків має свій особливий характер. З Африки ми поїхали давно і наш зв’язок з дітьми трохи послабшав. Але тут на Кіпрі ми дуже тісно спілкуємося з онуками і вони мабуть, окрім Сільвії, наші основні друзі.
Щодо Марсель, то вона трохи замкнута особа, як Рапунцель. Вона багато часу проводить замкнута у своїй кімнаті та у своєму житті. За три роки тут у Лімасолі, вона нарешті знайшла собі компанію. Тому її від’їзд, особливо день напередодні, коли ми приїхали, щоб її обійняти на доріжку – вона була дуже, дуже сумною.
Я згадала і розповіла їй свою історію, коли я мала залишити свій будинок і поїхати за розподілом до села, викладати малюнок та креслення і що з цього вийшло.
Я впевнена в тому, що у нашої Марсель все складеться найчудовішим чином і бажаю їй прекрасних пригод у її новому житті.
