In my previous life in Odessa, I had never seen fires, they may have happened, but they were not so spectacular. Here I was faced with the fact that fires happen often, especially in the summer, when the grass dries up and any spark can start a fire. But it turns out that fires are also natural, that is, nature itself causes them. I have already told you that the Others, one of the most amazing plants in the Cape, use fire to disperse their seeds.
Today I will show you a photo of the fire on Signal Hill under Lion's Head Mountain and another one right in the courtyard of our complex on Fresnaye.

У моєму колишньому житті в Одесі я ніколи не бачила пожежі, може вони й відбувалися, але не були такими видовищними. Тут же я зіткнулася з тим, що пожежі трапляються часто, особливо в літню пору, коли трава підсихає і будь-яка іскра може викликати пожежу. Але виявляється, що пожежі бувають природними, тобто сама природа викликає їх. Я вже розповідала про те, що Інші, одні з найдивовижніших рослин Капського півострова, використовують пожежу, щоб розсіювати своє насіння.

Сьогодні я покажу вам фото пожежі на Сигнальному пагорбі під Горою Левова голова та ще одна, прямо у дворі нашого комплексу на Фресні.
