Now the time has come for Christmas 2018, I don’t really remember how exactly we celebrated it, but there are still photographs of children visiting us. We signed a contract with them for 2 years and they began to successfully sell scarves with my zebras and elephants. In 2018, chasing after Africa and creatures, I started working on a new fiery series called “African Invasion.” I realized how we could live if we had creatures such as lions, elephants, and giraffes living with us. I started this new cycle of work, initially, I worked on this series of works in Photoshop. My original urban animal invasion began in Melbourne. In all this, it was clearly felt that I was homesick for Africa, for safari, and it gave me great pleasure to introduce giraffes, elephants and other African animals into the streets and alleys of the city. I imagined how great it would be if we could calmly coexist. Imagine walking down the street and inquisitive giraffes moving gracefully next to you. Or you stopped on the street to listen to a musical performance, and next to you, enjoying the music lies a resting lion – the King of Beasts.
