It seems to me that he had some kind of anniversary and Mara decided to give him a gift – a visit to our beloved Odesa. We met of course and met at Arcadia in Ithaca. It was a wonderful evening filled with warm memories of our past life, about the House of Scientists, about Baranova Street, where Mara lived, about how our children performed in the English children’s theater of the House of Scientists. Our city has always been famous for the fact that guests come to us in the summer, and for many it is a very big responsibility and burden. But of course not for us!   This summer, our Rada flew to us from Cape Town – she missed us and her beloved Odesa. Of course, she didn’t fly alone, her South African friends also happened to be in Odessa, so we actually rarely saw her. She stayed with us on Karolina Bugaz and had a happy walk, enjoying her beloved city. Одеса літня. In August we celebrate Marcelle’s birthday. She is very lucky to be born into such a wonderful family, where her parents with great enthusiasm prepare incredible surprises for her on this day.
