It becomes calm if there is no information about the next martyrs flying to our city. So, the day was successful. I imagine thousands of Ukrainians who came to the sea, because despite the fact that there is a war in the country, our children should have the pleasure of swimming and sunbathing. And in Cyprus, as always, it is hot. On one of the hottest days, when the island became like a hot frying pan, a terrible fire broke out, destroying several villages and taking the lives of a married couple. They burned alive in a car. Illness. Limassol, July 2025 What can I say? This week, I hope, I will have an end to the cycle of various ailments that have gripped me since the beginning of the month. A whole month of suffering against the backdrop of the hot Cypriot summer. I will not describe the details of what happened; it is pointless. But I seem to have pulled myself together.  July 2025. Our Rada came to visit from Cape Town So, this year has been so rich for us like never before. The Rada arrived, and we hosted her. The first day, the whole family went to Ayia Napa to the Water Park - the 10th-years of George  Birthday was celebrated there. Rada came to visit with the Greek Gods, and they took them to the place of the people of Aphrodite - the Stone of Aphrodite. This place is located on the road to the town of Paphos. Then we walked up the road to a village called Lefkara. The last time we were there three times, Rada concluded that after the end of the Covid quarantine, the village has blossomed and delights tourists with its beauty. липень, 2025 Кілька тижнів тому мені наснився сон у якому мене кусала ігуана. Вона була дуже гарна-з вузькою мордою. Морда її була за кольором біло-чорномалінова, а тулуб втрачав цей малиновий колір-воно було чорно білим і в лусочках. Ігуана виповзла з якогось дерев'яного ящика і накинулася на мене. Мені було дуже боляче, і я кликала на допомогу. Її щелепи були схожі на пластикові чорні виделки для сковороди і вони щільно в мене впивалися - розімкнути їх було складно. Мене звільнили, було поранено палець і з нього текла кров. Сон наснився з четверга на п'ятницю, і я чекала на його виконання. Наша Рада є справжнім спеціалістом з розгляду снів. Я подзвонила їй і вона розповіла мені значення цього сну. Начебто я звертатимуся до якогось начальника і він мені в чомусь відмовить. Summer has arrived, yes. At 6 pm the temperature is 33 degrees. This year the summer has spared us. Last year it started not in mid-June, but in April and lasted until October. I am slowly adapting. It used to seem impossible to me to go for walks in the summer, but now I have found a window! I get up at 6 am and go for a long walk, then to my beach and swim. I try to change my schedule and change my rituals every day. One day – yoga and swimming, the next day – promenade and swimming. The sea here is not our Black, it is saltier and it holds. You don’t expect it to. Now I understand those who hang far from the shore and just hang there. And I swim and count my strokes. This allows me more time in the sea! I have been learning Greek with Duolingo for the second year. As before, there is no one to talk to. I only hear Greek when I’m driving and I already have some familiar songs.
