 July 2025. Our Rada came to visit from Cape Town


So, this year has been so rich for us like never before. The Rada arrived, and we hosted her.

The first day, the whole family went to Ayia Napa to the Water Park - the 10th-years of George  Birthday was celebrated there.

Rada came to visit with the Greek Gods, and they took them to the place of the people of Aphrodite - the Stone of Aphrodite. This place is located on the road to the town of Paphos.

Then we walked up the road to a village called Lefkara. The last time we were there three times, Rada concluded that after the end of the Covid quarantine, the village has blossomed and delights tourists with its beauty.

In addition, we were kindly received by Sylvia at her wonderful Seafood restaurant, where we enjoyed the cherries from the restaurant menu.

For me, especially, all these benefits were not easy. At one time, I could hardly bear the heat, but at another, I fell ill.

I have stood with honor and courage, and I am confident that our Rada will remember its journey with warmth and love!


Так, цей тиждень для нас був таким насиченим як ніколи. Прилетіла Рада і ми її приймали.

У перші дні всією сім'єю з'їздили в Айя Напу в Аквапарк- там відзначали 10-річчя Георгія.

Рада приїхала побачитися з Грецькими Богами і ми звозили її на місце народження Афродіти- Камінь Афродіти. Це місце знаходиться по дорозі до міста Пафос.

Потім ми здійснили подорож до села під назвою Лефкара. Останній раз ми з Радою були там 3 роки тому і ми відзначили, що після закінчення карантину за Ковідом, село розквітло і радує своєю красою безліч туристів.

Крім того, ми були дуже люб'язно прийняті нашою Сільвією у її чудовому ресторані Сіфуд, де ми насолоджувалися вишуканими стравами з меню ресторану.

Для мене особисто всі ці пригоди були нелегкими. По-перше я насилу переношу спеку, а по-друге ще й прихворіла.

Але я з честю і мужністю відстояла і дуже сподіваюся, що Рада наша згадуватиме свою подорож із теплом та любов'ю

"The Last Tango" Art Project, by Tatyana Binovska Vera Kholodnaya was a real star of silent cinema and photographs with her image came out in mass print runs. The exhibition featured more than 200 photographs. Vadim Vadimovich Kostromenko, the permanent director of the Odessa Film Studio Cinema Museum, gave us several boxes with an old film. We pulled a fishing line throughout the gallery, hung files with legends about the life and death of V.Kholodnaya on it. You know, it turned out that it is very important that our viewers are very fond of reading, and later on at the next exhibitions I used this feature. The Cinema Museum provided a camera and a projector for use at the time.  The centre of the hall, so modern and cold, we separated with a thin muslin, which became the border between the past and the present.
