August. Sold out Elephantes and the other News from Limassol.

As it turned out, I didn’t mention in my stories that I received a cherished message from the Saatchi Gallery that my Elephants Walking Pushkinskaya were being sold! The news is very pleasant and very disturbing. It’s disturbing because the painting is in Ukraine, and I’m very worried about how everything will work out with its shipment to the USA. Sylvia and Kostya are dealing with this issue, and I believe that everything will be fine. The most pleasant thing in this story is that the work was bought by a woman who already has two of my works – these are my leopards. So I have collectors from America and not only her! It’s very, very nice because they help us survive in a foreign country, and also inspire the creation of new works!
The most important news of this week is Theodore’s victory in the skateboarding competition! Despite the heat, our winner has been training all summer, practicing difficult tricks, he says that this sport gives him the opportunity to be happy and free. We are very happy for him.
In Cape Town, Benjamin went to a hard rock concert. His sister Charlotte helped his friend and Ben do the appropriate makeup! It turned out very beautifully, didn’t it?
I almost forgot to tell you about the act of humanity and mercy that happened to me this week. A few months ago, I had a problem with my teeth and I couldn’t bring myself to solve it. And then, having received payment for the order, I decided. I went to the clinic, which is within easy reach of my place of residence. When I arrived at the clinic, I asked for help and they provided it to me! Moreover, when they found out that I am from Ukraine, they refused to accept payment! Yes, as it turned out! Як зараз виявилося, я у своїх історіях не розповіла про те, що мені прийшло заповітне повідомлення від Саатчі галереї про те, що продавалися мої слони, що йдуть Пушкінською! Звістка дуже приємна і дуже тривожна. Тривожне від того, що картина перебуває в Україні, і я дуже турбуюся про те, як все влаштується з її відправкою до США. Сільвія та Костя займаються цим питанням і я вірю, що все буде гаразд. Найприємніше в цій історії це те, що роботу купила жінка, яка вже має дві мої роботи- це мої леопарди. Тож у мене є колекціонери з Америки і не тільки вона одна! Це дуже, дуже приємно, тому що вони допомагають нам виживати в чужій країні, а також надихають створення нових робіт!
Найголовніша новина цього тижня – це перемога нашого Теодора у змаганні скейтбордистів! Незважаючи на спеку, наш переможець все літо тренується відпрацьовуючи складні трюки, він каже, що цей спорт дає йому можливість бути щасливим та вільним. Ми за нього дуже раді.
У Кейптауні Бенжамін ходив на концерт хард року. Його сестра Шарлот допомогла його другові та Бену зробити відповідний макіяж! Вийшло дуже красиво, чи не так?
Я мало не забула розповісти вам про акт людяності та милосердя, який відбувся зі мною цього тижня. У мене кілька місяців тому виникла проблема із зубами і я ніяк не могла наважитися вирішити її. А тут, отримавши оплату за замовлення, я зважилася. Я пішла до клініки, яка знаходиться в шосій доступності від мого місця проживання. Прийшовши до клініки я звернулася з проханням про допомогу і мені її надали! Причому, дізнавшись, що я з України, відмовилися приймати оплату! Так, таке, як виявилося! Я від щирого серця дякую Pashias Dental Clinic. Дякую!
