This week's news is very, very sad.

Sad not only for us, but for the whole world. Our cities are being mercilessly destroyed, and innocent people are dying.

This week, for the first time, I saw a loved one who became a victim of shelling. This is Zhenya Lukashov, or more precisely, Evgeny Otarovich Lukashov, an artist, musician, and collector. I have known Zhenya since childhood, and his mother was my ballet teacher at the Officers' Club. Zhenya's wife Gelya, studied with me in the same group at the OGHU. Zhenya always came to the openings of exhibitions and presentations that took place in my galleries. And now he is wounded, his photo was shown in the feed of Alena Silvashi, it was she who helped him in the first moments of the disaster. How wonderful that despite the cruelty of current events, people remain people and do not lose their humanity. I really hope that Zhenya will endure all the hardships of what happened to him, and I wish him and all the other victims a speedy recovery. I DO NOT want to talk about other news. Something is happening in the world that defies common sense. I am very, very scared. Both maniacs, the red-haired punk and the Moscow bastard, who met in time, must certainly be punished.

Сумні не лише для нас, а й для всього світу. Наші міста нещадно руйнують, при цьому гинуть безневинні люди.

Цього тижня я вперше побачила близьку людину, яка стала жертвою обстрілу. Це – Женя Лукашов, точніше сказати Євген Отарович Лукашов, діяч мистецтв, музикант та колекціонер. Я знайома з Женею з самого дитинства, а його мати була моїм викладачем балету в Будинку Офіцерів. Дружина Жені Геля навчалася зі мною в одній групі в ОДХУ. Женя завжди приходив на відкриття виставок та презентації, які відбувалися у моїх галереях. 

А тепер він поранений, його фото показала в стрічці Олена Сільваші, саме вона надала йому допомогу в перші моменти лиха. Як чудово, що попри жорстокість справжніх подій люди залишаються людьми і не втрачають людяності. Я дуже сподіваюся на те, що Женя перенесе всі труднощі того, що сталося з ним, і я бажаю йому та всім іншим постраждалим якнайшвидшого одужання.

НЕ хочу говорити про інші новини. У світі коїться щось, що не піддається здоровому глузду. Мені дуже страшно. Обидва маніяки, рудий поц і московський ублюдок, що зійшли в часі, повинні неодмінно покарати.

"The Last Tango" Art Project, by Tatyana Binovska Vera Kholodnaya was a real star of silent cinema and photographs with her image came out in mass print runs. The exhibition featured more than 200 photographs. Vadim Vadimovich Kostromenko, the permanent director of the Odessa Film Studio Cinema Museum, gave us several boxes with an old film. We pulled a fishing line throughout the gallery, hung files with legends about the life and death of V.Kholodnaya on it. You know, it turned out that it is very important that our viewers are very fond of reading, and later on at the next exhibitions I used this feature. The Cinema Museum provided a camera and a projector for use at the time.  The centre of the hall, so modern and cold, we separated with a thin muslin, which became the border between the past and the present.
