Fake sale!

This week, I sold my paintings to scammers!

As usual, a lady contacted me on Facebook and asked for my WhatsApp number. She allegedly contacted me as her boss. He asked me to send him photos of the works available for sale. I did not send the photos. It takes too much time.

I sent a link to my Saatchi Art. He chose 7 works, one of which is in Ukraine. He asked me to indicate the price. He did not even ask my location!

I asked who would handle the shipping - he said that he would do it. It is clear that this is a trick; the purpose of this trick is unclear.

The final cost of the 6 works was 17,500 Euros.

Interestingly, he promised payment not to PayPal, as usual, but to the account that I provided.

I have been waiting! For several days now!

And, of course, I didn't wait.

The most interesting thing about these numerous appeals is that they create some kind of ephemeral hope! What if it's true? And as they say, dreaming is not harmful. But I made a conclusion for myself - the cost of the works needs to be increased, so dreams become more significant!

Фальшивий продаж!

Цього тижня я продавала свої роботи шахраям!

Як завжди, на ФБ зі мною зв'язалася леді і попросила мій номер на Ватсап. Зі мною зв'язався, нібито її шеф. Він попросив мене надіслати йому фото доступних для продажу робіт. Фото я надсилати не стала. Занадто багато часу це займає.

Надіслала посилання на свій Саатчі Арт. Вибрав-7 робіт, одна з яких в Україні. Попросив позначити вартість. Не питав навіть моє місцезнаходження!

Я запитала, хто займатиметься пересиланням- сказав, що це робить він. Зрозуміло, що це розлучення, незрозуміло цілі цього розлучення.

Остаточна вартість 6 робіт становила 17 500 Євро.

Цікаво, що він обіцяв оплату не на Пій Пал, як завжди, а на рахунок, який я надала.

Чекаю! Вже кілька днів!

І, звичайно ж, не дочекалася.

Найцікавіше в цих численних зверненнях те, що вони створюють якусь ефемерну надію! А раптом це правда? І як кажуть-мріяти не шкідливо. Але я зробила для себе висновок - вартість робіт потрібно підвищувати, таким чином мрії стають вагомішими!

"The Last Tango" Art Project, by Tatyana Binovska Vera Kholodnaya was a real star of silent cinema and photographs with her image came out in mass print runs. The exhibition featured more than 200 photographs. Vadim Vadimovich Kostromenko, the permanent director of the Odessa Film Studio Cinema Museum, gave us several boxes with an old film. We pulled a fishing line throughout the gallery, hung files with legends about the life and death of V.Kholodnaya on it. You know, it turned out that it is very important that our viewers are very fond of reading, and later on at the next exhibitions I used this feature. The Cinema Museum provided a camera and a projector for use at the time.  The centre of the hall, so modern and cold, we separated with a thin muslin, which became the border between the past and the present.
