Лютий 2026 Щорічний карнавал на Кіпрі,Арт Феїр у Кейптауні, 4 роки у війні.

Цього тижня було багато подій та багато роботи. Лютий дуже насичений різними заходами. У неділю відбулася остання з цілого тижня хода Щорічного карнавалу на Кіпрі. І я вмовила Раду відвезти мене, щоб відволіктися від смутку і поринути в атмосферу карнавалу. Початок було заявлено на годину дня, а ми під'їхали до третьої години і побачили практично 100-ту колону. Було цікаво: йшли колони азіатів. Вони добре підготувалися: гарні костюми та відрежисовані танці. А за ними пішли юрби п'яних кіпріотів і це було неприємно — ми пішли.

Цього тижня відбувся мій улюблений Інвестек Арт Феїр у Кейптауні! Я попросила нашу Раду попрацювати і зняти для мене відео, і вона надіслала мені матеріал майже на цілу годину! Це величезна робота, і я їй дуже вдячна! Тож викладаю для вас посилання на Феїр та на карнавал.

А 24 лютого до нас застала сумна дата — ровно 4 роки тому ми покинули наше колишнє життя — нам довелося тікати з України, рятуючи наших дітей та онуків.
Коли виїжджали, думали, що це помилка і ми скоро повернемося. А з іншого боку, всі кидали, не замислюючись про те, що на нас чекає. Ми кидали все заради наших близьких.

This week was full of events and a lot of work. February is very busy with various events. On Sunday, the last procession of the Annual Carnival in Cyprus took place. And I persuaded the Council to take me to distract myself from sadness and immerse myself in the atmosphere of the carnival. The start was announced at one o'clock in the afternoon, and we arrived at three o'clock and saw almost the 100th column. It was interesting: columns of Asians were walking. They were well prepared: beautiful costumes and staged dances. And crowds of drunk Cypriots followed them and it was unpleasant - we left.

This week, my favorite Investec Art Fair took place in Cape Town! I asked our Council to work and shoot a video for me, and they sent me material for almost an hour! This is a huge job, and I am very grateful to them! So I am posting links to the Fair and the Carnival for you.

And on February 24, a sad date came to us - exactly 4 years ago we left our former life - we had to flee Ukraine, saving our children and grandchildren.
When we left, we thought that this was a mistake and we would soon return. And on the other hand, everyone left, not thinking about what awaited us. We left everything for the sake of our loved ones.

липень, 2025 Кілька тижнів тому мені наснився сон у якому мене кусала ігуана. Вона була дуже гарна-з вузькою мордою. Морда її була за кольором біло-чорномалінова, а тулуб втрачав цей малиновий колір-воно було чорно білим і в лусочках. Ігуана виповзла з якогось дерев'яного ящика і накинулася на мене. Мені було дуже боляче, і я кликала на допомогу. Її щелепи були схожі на пластикові чорні виделки для сковороди і вони щільно в мене впивалися - розімкнути їх було складно. Мене звільнили, було поранено палець і з нього текла кров. Сон наснився з четверга на п'ятницю, і я чекала на його виконання. Наша Рада є справжнім спеціалістом з розгляду снів. Я подзвонила їй і вона розповіла мені значення цього сну. Начебто я звертатимуся до якогось начальника і він мені в чомусь відмовить. So ask, I will highlight several publications for this material. This is about my author’s project dedicated to the memory of silent film actress Vera Kholodnaya. I called it - "Last Tango" It seems to me that the dignity and greatness of every nation is to preserve cultural values. At all times, rulers, politicians wrote their own history for the people. At one time, in a Soviet school, we studied Marxist-Leninist aesthetics and built communism, and today our children learn the history of Independent Ukraine. Historical facts are distorted. Only the cultural heritage, names and life stories of interesting people, people of art - artists, actors, musicians remain unforgettable. "The Last Tango" Art Project, by Tatyana Binovska Vera Kholodnaya was a real star of silent cinema and photographs with her image came out in mass print runs. The exhibition featured more than 200 photographs. Vadim Vadimovich Kostromenko, the permanent director of the Odessa Film Studio Cinema Museum, gave us several boxes with an old film. We pulled a fishing line throughout the gallery, hung files with legends about the life and death of V.Kholodnaya on it. You know, it turned out that it is very important that our viewers are very fond of reading, and later on at the next exhibitions I used this feature. The Cinema Museum provided a camera and a projector for use at the time.  The centre of the hall, so modern and cold, we separated with a thin muslin, which became the border between the past and the present.
