Подяка та Димний Четвер у Лімасолі. Лютий, 2026

Я повинна висловити велику подяку всім тим, хто підтримав мене, дізнавшись про мою невдачу з виставкою конкурсу портретів у Лондоні. І я хочу запевнити всіх вас, мої милі, що я не засмутилася. Не хвилюйтеся за мене. У нашому теперішньому житті так багато переживань і горя, що ця ситуація виглядає смішною. Нещодавно одна з моїх нових знайомих висловила таку прекрасну думку, що я її тепер завжди повторюю. У той момент, коли в тебе щось не виходить і ти зазнаєш невдачі, тобі відкриваються нові можливості, про які ти поки що і не здогадуєшся! Так що нам залишається жити і слідувати своїй долі.

А ось у житті кіпрських людей вчора так само прийшла неприємність.

Вчора, 12  лютого, було свято на Кіпрі під назвою Димний Четвер! У цей день усі збираються великими компаніями та смажать усюди шашлики. Свято було зіпсоване дощем, який лив весь день. Але люди не засмутилися і продовжували смажити м'ясо під дощем — у цьому є своє задоволення, чи не так?

I must express my great gratitude to all those who supported me after learning about my failure in the portrait competition exhibition in London. And I want to assure all of you, my dears, that I am not upset. Do not worry about me. There are so many experiences and sorrows in our current life that this situation seems ridiculous. Recently, one of my new acquaintances shared such a wonderful thought that I now repeat it constantly. At that moment, when you do not succeed and fail, new opportunities open up to you that you do not even suspect yet! So we can only live and follow our destiny.


But in the life of the Cypriot people yesterday, a similar nuisance came.

Yesterday was a holiday called Smokey Thursday! On this day, everyone gathers in large companies and grills kebabs everywhere. The celebration was spoiled by the rain that poured all day. But people were not upset and continued to fry meat in the rain - there is a pleasure in that, isn't there?

"The Last Tango" Art Project, by Tatyana Binovska Vera Kholodnaya was a real star of silent cinema and photographs with her image came out in mass print runs. The exhibition featured more than 200 photographs. Vadim Vadimovich Kostromenko, the permanent director of the Odessa Film Studio Cinema Museum, gave us several boxes with an old film. We pulled a fishing line throughout the gallery, hung files with legends about the life and death of V.Kholodnaya on it. You know, it turned out that it is very important that our viewers are very fond of reading, and later on at the next exhibitions I used this feature. The Cinema Museum provided a camera and a projector for use at the time.  The centre of the hall, so modern and cold, we separated with a thin muslin, which became the border between the past and the present. Лимасол. Мій сон про Ігуану. Липень, 2025

липень, 2025 Кілька тижнів тому мені наснився сон у якому мене кусала ігуана. Вона була дуже гарна-з вузькою мордою. Морда її була за кольором біло-чорномалінова, а тулуб втрачав цей малиновий колір-воно було чорно білим і в лусочках. Ігуана виповзла з якогось дерев'яного ящика і накинулася на мене. Мені було дуже боляче, і я кликала на допомогу. Її щелепи були схожі на пластикові чорні виделки для сковороди і вони щільно в мене впивалися - розімкнути їх було складно. Мене звільнили, було поранено палець і з нього текла кров. Сон наснився з четверга на п'ятницю, і я чекала на його виконання. Наша Рада є справжнім спеціалістом з розгляду снів. Я подзвонила їй і вона розповіла мені значення цього сну. Начебто я звертатимуся до якогось начальника і він мені в чомусь відмовить. Я посміялася – слава Богу, у мене тепер немає начальників і я ні до кого не збираюся звертатися. Але все ж таки сон мій здійснився і я розповім яким чином!
