The End of November, Limassol.
Нарешті прийшла благодатна прохолода на наш острів Кіпр. Вдень досі спекотно, зате надвечір не можемо натішитися. Можна утеплюватись і це приємно.
Цього тижня ми з Раду займалися його здоров'ям, відвідували лікарів, і він здавав аналізи. Це неймовірний привілей для нас українців, ті, хто має статус тимчасового захисту, практично всі послуги для нас безкоштовні.
А я зайнята як ніколи. Закінчила чергове замовлення і вчора ми відправили моє святе сімейство слонів та сюрприз у вигляді портрета кота до Америки. Неймовірно радує захоплення моїх шанувальників та відчуття потреби.
Саме в цьому велика різниця із тим, що я відчувала в Одесі. За роки роботи в улюбленому місті я на собі відчула закон фізики-дія обов'язково викликає протидію! І чим більше ти намагаєшся для інших, тим більше тебе ненавидять. Але ця слава богу пішла і я відпустила образи та розчарування.
Як я говорила раніше, я вирішила взяти участь у виставці конкурсу портретів у Великій Британії.
Коли почалася війна, я настільки розчарувалася дійствами божевільних людей, що вирішила відмовитися від їхніх зображень, на Кіпрі в основному писала квіти і африканських тварин. Але пропозиція участі в конкурсі змусила мене задуматися про те, скільки всього портретів я написала за все моє життя. Звичайно ж точно порахувати не вийде, тому що спочатку не робила фото і багато портретів поїхали чи розлетілися. Але я вирішила трохи систематизувати, що маю і зробила новий профіль на Інстаграм та нову папку на ФБ, де намагаюся публікувати та розкладати по поличках написані мною портрети.
А з приводу конкурсу я вирішила написати кілька невеликих розмірів нових портретів, які у разі схвалення буде легше пересилати поштою. Так що готуйтеся - вже дуже скоро я вам покажу перший із задуманих!
Finally, a blessed coolness has come to our island of Cyprus. It is still hot during the day, but in the evening we cannot enjoy it. We can warm ourselves, and it is pleasant.
This week, Rada and I have been taking care of his health, visiting doctors, and he has taken tests. This is an incredible privilege for us Ukrainians, those who have temporary protection status; practically all services are free for us.
And I am busier than ever. I finished another order, and yesterday we sent my holy family of elephants and a surprise in the form of a cat portrait to America. The admiration of my fans and the feeling of need are incredibly pleasing.
This is the big difference from what I felt in Odessa. Over the years of working in my beloved city, I have experienced the law of physics - action necessarily causes reaction! And the more you try for others, the more they hate you. But this, thank God, is gone, and I let go of resentment and disappointment.
As I said before, I decided to take part in a portrait competition exhibition in the UK.
When the war started, I was so disappointed by the actions of crazy people that I decided to give up their images. In Cyprus, I mainly painted flowers and African animals. But the offer to participate in the competition made me think about how many portraits I have painted in my entire life. Of course, I can't count exactly, because at first I didn't take photos and many portraits have gone or scattered. But I decided to systematise what I have a little and made a new profile on Instagram and a new folder on FB, where I try to publish and arrange the portraits I painted on the shelves.
And regarding the competition, I decided to paint a few small sizes of new portraits, which, if approved, will be easier to send by mail. So get ready - very soon I will show you the first of the planned ones!
