The story of one photograph. We leave a lot of photos for our whole life and only we know what stories are behind them. Today I want to distract you from my descriptions of exhibitions and meetings with artists and other interesting people and tell a little story that happened in the gallery. The story is small because it is about a little boy who came to the gallery with his grandmother. I can’t remember what the exposition was at that time and what works we pre sented this time, but I was struck by the behaviour of the child. On special high podiums, we had bronze sculptures. The boy stopped in front of one of them and stood there for a very long time. He did not succumb to the entreaties of his grandmother, who was trying to divert his attention to something else. I had to remove the sculpture from the podium and put it on the floor. For more than an hour, the baby sat next to the sculpture and selflessly stroked it and examined it from all sides.
